AeroSpin DJ Academy
AeroSpin Academy is an aviation-inspired DJ apprenticeship program that trains the next generation of talent by blending the discipline of flight with the artistry of the decks. Designed as a “flight school for DJs,” the program takes aspiring artists through progressive levels — Takeoff, Cruise Altitude, and Supersonic Set — where they master mixing techniques, live performance skills, music production, and stage presence under the guidance of experienced mentors.

Through hands-on workshops, real-world challenges, and high-energy showcases, apprentices develop the technical precision and creative confidence needed to soar in the music industry. Launched as a "pilot" program in partnership with the Las Vegas Aviators, AeroSpin Academy delivers professional-level training at no cost to participants or the team, creating meaningful opportunities for local youth while delivering exciting entertainment experiences for fans.
Takeoff Track (Beginner Level)

Takeoff Track is the foundational phase of AeroSpin Academy where aspiring DJs prepare for liftoff. Over the first four weeks, apprentices master the essential skills needed to operate confidently behind the decks. Participants learn core equipment setup, beatmatching techniques, basic transitions, phrasing, and song selection. Through hands-on “Ground School” workshops and simple practice sets, students build technical precision and develop strong habits. This level culminates in a short public “Takeoff Set,” giving apprentices their first real taste of performing while receiving constructive mentor feedback. By the end of Takeoff Track, every participant has a solid runway of fundamentals and is cleared for the next altitude.
Cruise Altitude (Intermediate Level)

Cruise Altitude elevates apprentices from basic operation to smooth, confident performance. During weeks five through eight, the focus shifts to advanced mixing techniques, harmonic blending, crowd reading, energy management, and set storytelling. Apprentices participate in “Altitude Challenges,” back-to-back sets, and mid-program performances of 15–20 minutes. Personalized Wingman Mentorship provides one-on-one guidance, while guest instructors bring real-world insights from the Las Vegas music scene. This level emphasizes creativity, adaptability, and stage presence, preparing students to handle increasing pressure with composure. Graduates of Cruise Altitude emerge with polished skills and the ability to engage audiences effectively.

Supersonic Set (Advanced Level)

Supersonic Set is the capstone phase where apprentices push toward professional mastery. In the final four weeks, participants refine long-form set design, advanced production and remixing techniques, branding, and the business side of DJing. The curriculum includes high-pressure performance training and multiple live opportunities, including potential slots tied to Las Vegas Aviators games. Apprentices develop professional demo mixes and prepare for the culminating “Takeoff Showcase,” where they deliver a full 45–60 minute headline set. This level equips graduates with the technical excellence, creative vision, and career-ready mindset needed to launch successfully into the music industry. Upon completion, apprentices join the AeroSpin Alumni Wing with ongoing support and networking opportunities.
